JUSTICE AND EQUITY BY DESIGN
MISSION CITY RENEWAL TOOLKIT

The Mission City Renewal Toolkit is a collection of resources designed to help you and your organization grow as a changemaker. We start from an individual and personal journey, identifying our passions and talents. Then we move to a communal and organizational lens, identifying how we work with others for the flourshing of our communities.
Rooted in design thinking and asset-based community development, the toolkit is designed as a set of resources for the community or organizational leaders who are looking to take a group on a journey deeper into stewarding their resources for their communities. We believe that institutions and communities should work for everyone. We believe that everyone should have a seat at the table. We believe that everyone has something to offer and every community is full of assets. We believe that we can design better communities together.
Changemaker Storyguide
The Changemaker Storyguide is a reflective journaling journey to discover how your greatest passions can meet the world’s greatest needs. How do I find meaningful work? How do all of my skills, passions and experiences fit together? Where is God leading? Can I make enough money and do something with purpose?
The workbook and workshops will lead you through a series of questions and activities to help you clarify your passion by revisiting moments of your own story and thinking about what you love to do. Then, you’ll use that clarity to define the possibilities of designing a life of actively doing good in your community. The Changemaker Storyguide is available for individuals or organizational groups.
