GOOD ACRES ROUNDTABLE
GOOD ACRES ROUNDTABLE
Welcome to the Good Acres Roundtable!
Good Acres is part of a nonprofit initiative to help churches, nonprofits, or really anyone maximize their underused property for community benefit projects like daycares, affordable housing, or to support small businesses. We believe we need more of these mission-driven projects in our neighborhoods, and particularly here in San Antonio.
Each episode we highlight groups that are already working on these kinds of projects, either here in San Antonio or elsewhere in the country. We examine their process and journey in putting each project together, leading their organizations through it, and what’s it’s like working with the community to solve real problems through it. Our goal is to break down these projects into their individual pieces so that we can all learn how to replicate their success in our own communities.
We invite you to learn with us how to better our world through the creative intersection of faith, community, and real estate.
